This little bowl of hydrangeas rested on the table in the entryway to my daughter's home. The soft petals reflected so many soft blues, yellows and purples. The decorative rings in the background repeated the shape of the vase and I could not resist painting the beautiful scene. Of course it was a Christmas present to my daughter and her family that year. And I still get to enjoy it when I visit her home.
