There is energy in color and I am fascinated by the dancing, contrasting glimpses of color against color, so when I have the opportunity to work in an abstract manner, I want to celebrate that concept. Yellows, purples, oranges, and greens come together to form bowers of color. The larger rectangles at the bottom give they eye a place to rest, however even there is an energetic mark to carry the eye across the canvas. I am a great admirer of "mark" artists like Betty Krause and the artists of #markmaking. This is my mark making ... I hope you enjoy it!
