Easter ... rain or shine will always bring memories of new dresses and shoes, my brother's suits and family gatherings. But imagine the first Easter: the garden is coming to life around the tomb. Dew nourishes the blossoms and the sun illuminates a new brightness to the world. Everything is new! This painting is my interpretation of Easter morning. Bright pink, yellow, orange and purple wakes the eye while the empty door proclaims the miracle of life. The cloud descending over the tomb connects the earth to the heavens and everything is new ... Amen!
