I don't think I ever knew that Water Lilies change colors in the fall. I found these floating outside a restaurant in Frederick, Maryland. It was a drippy day, which probably helped saturate the yellow, pink, purple, teal and olive lily pads floating just outside the restaurant windows. I was so intrigued by the mixture of watery colors that showed off the bright pink late blossom. It was a joy to capture these colors for my fall collection of paintings!
